Worldwide Game Day Characters

by Ameron (Derek Myers) on May 22, 2009

The pre-generated characters for the May 23, Dungeons & Dragons Worldwide Game Day are available. Download them now as PDFs or for the DDI Character Builder.

The last time I participated in D&D WWGD I found that a lot of time was unnecessarily wasted while people got to know their characters. I’d like to do my part to speed things up this weekend so I’ve made the pre-generated character available for download. I know it’s kind of last minute, but you still have time to review the five PCs and decide which one you’d most like to play. This gives you a chance to sift through your PHB and PHB2 and review exactly what your powers allow you to do.

If you’re really keen, you could print copies of the characters before you head to your local game store. Having colour power cards does make a big difference. If you print them ahead of time you can cut your power cards at home and be ready to start playing as soon as you arrive. It may also help the experienced players provide some coaching to first timers if you’ve already got an idea of what their PC can do.

Here are the individual characters in PDF format.

Here are the characters all together as a zip file.

Hey, its me, the dude playing the Tiefling Warlord from Game Day.
Just wanted to say nice meeting you, and thanks for helping make my first in person game of D&D a fun experience.
I just took a look around the site, it’s definitely bookmarked for future reference.

Hi Myles. This is Suddry (Jay). Barbarian extraordinaire.

Glad you had fun. It was my first real Game Day epxerience myself. I don’t think it will be my last. Lots of fun. Lots of laughs and it was nice to talk “geek” with people.

Hope to meet you at a table again one day.

Hey, where can I find blank pdf copies of these sheets? Also ability cards and item cards. I could really make good use out of these for the game I’m about to play in as a Deva Invoker

@Myles
Welcome to Dungeon’s Master. I’m glad you enjoyed Game Day. It’s a good chance to meet new gamers and have fun.

@Brody
Wizards of the Coast has blank Character Sheets available for download.

The Character Builder is available from Wizards with a Dungeons & Dragons Insider (DDI) subscription. I think you may still be able to download the trial copy for free. It will generate the character sheets and power cards for you. If you’re interested in just power cards there are a lot of homemade ones on the internet and Wizards will be releasing official version by class in the coming weeks and months.
