ENnie Award Nominations

On Monday the 2009 ENnie Award nominees were announced. Even though our fledgling site didn’t earn a nomination this year, the team at Dungeon’s Master wants to congratulate the five finalists in the Best Website category.

Best Website

If you have no idea what the ENnie Awards are then you should visit the ENnie Awards website.

“The GenCon EN World RPG Awards (the “ENnies”) are an annual fan-based celebration of excellence in tabletop roleplaying gaming. The ENnies give game designers, writers and artists the recognition they deserve. It is a peoples’ choice award, and the final winners are voted upon online by the gaming public.”

“Voting for the ENnies will begin on July 24th.”

In addition to highlighting the websites nominated, I thought it would be appropriate to highlight the categories in which 4e D&D products are nominated. After all, we write about 4e D&D almost every day here at Dungeon’s Master so it seems only appropriate to let you know what categories D&D is represented in. @The Last Rogue
I toyed with the idea of posting my picks, but in truth I don’t really know or play a lot of the nominated products and games. I didn’t feel it would be right to suggest my favourite would win just because I didn’t recognize any of the other nominees. I won’t be surprised if D&D 4e wins product of the year. Love or hate 4e you have to admit that it’s the juggernaut of the RPG community.
