D&D Encounters: Dark Legacy of Evard (season 5) is underway. If you’re looking for pre-generated characters, we’ve got them for you. There are the repeats from last season that Wizards of the Coast provided and then there are the four brand new pre-generated characters that we created using the new Players Option: Heroes of Shadow.
Since many DMs have opted to let their players continue using the same characters from last season of D&D Encounters, we decided to provide level 3 versions of our pre-gens.
Pre-Generated Characters
- Level 1 Pre-Generated Characters (Wizards of the Coast)
- Level 1 Pre-Generated Characters (Dungeon’s Master)
Again we’d like to extend a huge thank you to Captain Spud from Lost Hemisphere for converting the CB files into character cards that so closely resemble the ones Wizards of the Coast uses.

Thanks for the updated pre-gens. I plan on printing these and laminating them, as I’m sure they’ll come in quite useful not only for Encounters but for other games I run as well. Great work on the pre-gens!
Hey Bill, hope everything went well last night.
The updated pre-gens look great, thanks Capt. Spud for the fantastic updates.
Awesome! We created new pregens as well, but not of THIS quality. 😀
These are GREAT! I brought a full set of Level 1 pregens for the other tables last week. Since I’m running at Level 3, I especially appreciate the Level 3 pre-gens, since I can bring in new players with no fuss! As I suspected, some of the Level 3 versions are still very simple to play, since they only get boosted stats, an extra utility, and an extra use of their Level 1 Encounter power…
does Drenda have a L2 Utility power?
