One of the joys about writing a D&D blog is that from time to time interesting projects come to our attention. Take Deities! An Album About Love and Dungeons & Dragons. Sounds bizarre and off the wall doesn’t it? Yet, Chris Littler is working to bring this project to life. I have to say I am more than a little bit intrigued.
Chris wrote to us he asked if we could spread the word about the project. In order to have his album made he requires funding. Details about how to support the project are available on the website linked above. I would encourage you to investigate it and discover the interesting things that are occurring in the D&D community.
In Chris’ own words, “The album takes place in the DnD universe. At least, my personal interpretation of it. Every song is about a real life experience I’ve had with love, all coated in a thick layer of monsters, medieval weaponry, and a fair share of deity names owned by WOTC.” That’s all it took to peak my interest.
Give Chris’ project a look and if you think it’s worth supporting do so. Deities! An Album About Love and Dungeons & Dragons.

Interesting project, but I was a little sad to see that my favorite evil deity, Dagon, was not on the list for songs… but I suppose in the DnD universe, Dagon isn’t exactly out to become “popular” or even “well-known”.
Dagon is my favorite behind-the-scenes source evil, pulling all the strings, and most creatures are never the wiser. Maybe if I make a donation he could write up a sort of sailor dirge…
