It would be useful if the character level were also added to the brief synopsis, since that’s a key bit of info when looking for a pregen.

Ah, silly me, I see now that they are all level 1. But as more get added, that may no longer be the case. I also see that the ones from various Game Days are missing (such as the Red Box Essentials Game Day and the Dark Sun Game Day).

Although, upon reflection, a few of my pre-gens look like they have a few stat errors. I’ll get to correcting those asap and sending new ones.

Awesome idea, and very cool. I only wish there were a pre-gen template to create our own awesome-looking character sheets, but I guess the new ones aren’t too bad. Gotta love the colors, though.

It would also be awesome to get the .dnd4e files for these pre-generated characters as well. Do they already exist somewhere else?

will dungeons and donuts’s lost crown of neverwinter pre-gens be included?

7 Sunyaku February 3, 2012 at 12:11 am

This is a really awesome resource. I think you guys should keep this up.

will pre-gens be included for Season 8: the elder elemental eye?

9 Azanhour Axebearer March 26, 2012 at 5:35 pm

Great article guys! I really appreciate the pre-gens using the the Heroes of the Elemental Chaos!
Thank you! I might keep these when I am running a game at a convention or store!

does Tia Yaun have some skill problems? shouldn’t she have another language?

11 Marcus10kill April 6, 2012 at 11:07 pm

These are great and very useful as some stores have seen a sudden increase in the number of players showing up to D&D encounters in the last month. But I’m hoping WotC does up some new official pregenerated characters for May and Season-9.

Don’t count on it. Wizards has been pretty consistent with their stance that if you need a pre-gen you can use one of the six they provide with each kit. After one season of using the pre-gen they want you to buy the books and the DDI so you can make your own character. However, we know from our own experiences that some people don’t have the time or the money to make their own character which is why we’ve created this library and continue to solicit new pre-gens from the online gaming community.

Interesting, our Encounters group is using the pre-generated characters from what looks like Season 4 for this encounter. Some of those elemental characters look pretty cool.

14 DM With A Big d20 July 25, 2012 at 9:46 pm

How come they didn’t make a character sheet for Al for the Season 7 set?

15 Amqui March 30, 2013 at 10:42 pm

Is it possible to have the pregens for Seasons 11 and 12 please?

16 Ameron (Derek Myers) March 31, 2013 at 8:50 am

No new pre-gens were provided for those seasons. Every pre-gen Wizards has ever provided for D&D Encounters is posted here. The “standard” set is from season 4 March of the Phantom Brigade (Belgos, Brandis, Fargrim, Jarren, Keira, Valenae).

17 Vobekhan June 23, 2013 at 6:47 am

With more and more groups turning to the platest Next ruleset for Encounters, do you have any plans to include Next pregens in the list?

18 Ameron (Derek Myers) June 23, 2013 at 10:35 am

I’m not sure if that would be a violation of the playtest NDA. I’ll reach out to Wizards and see if they’re ok with it.

Anyone have a template to make your own versions of this style of character sheet?

I love the look

photoshop or powerpoint file?

20 Jake April 29, 2016 at 2:51 am

Is there any of these style characters made for 5e? I see a lot of character sheet, but not like these. For cons and such these Premade look amazing

21 Mitchell July 25, 2016 at 8:28 am

Me and my friends want to start playing D and D but i find it really confusing with all these different packs and different ways to play. we really want to try a zombie apocalypse type of game but we are unsure in where to start
